Lindsay Levkoff calls herself a “recovering molecular biologist.” Now she’s the director of education at SparkFun. I spoke to her after they launched this new website; this interview runs the gamut on topics like America’s failures (and successes) with STEM education, why higher education may be misguided, how to get kids using hands-on materials at a much earlier age, and much more. Side note to all this: SparkFun is completely open-source.
