Episode No. 11: Bill Murphy, Montana Freemason

Admittedly, this interview isn’t about someone’s job — it’s more about a way of life. Because I knew nothing about the Freemasons and Masonry, I thought I’d try and reach out to one. I found Bill Murphy, who is based in Montana. (His specific lodge can be located here.)

This interview was conducted on Black Friday, so there might be a few audio stops and starts — on occasion, both Bill and I had to deal with other people asking us questions about, well, sales.

Like I said, I knew nothing about Masonry before talking to Bill, but in the process, I learned a ton about it. You can get all that within the interview; I also recommend this Discovery Channel special on the order:

As always, you can subscribe to this podcast at this link.

Episode No. 12 should arrive on Monday, December 19th — I’m still determining exactly who the guest will be (I have several options taped), so check back for that to drop.

Happy holidays, guys.

What’s This All About?

This is a blog and podcast series about the work we all do: the highs, the lows, the effectiveness, the intrigue, the models, the double speak, and the passion. The point is to have discussions with people in those fields about their life and experiences. And hey, sometimes the stories might be funny, too. In the spring of 2013, the new posts started to fade, but you can find them all on iTunes.
