Rick Limpert was in the corporate sector and consulting world for a while, but he gradually shifted over to covering sports — and the intersection of technology and sports — mostly on a freelance basis. Here’s some of his columns, here’s some additional writing samples, and here’s his own awesome podcast, “The Tech of Sports.”

Couple of quick housekeeping notes: I didn’t post last Thursday because of familial obligations; I’m moving in late July, but between now and then, I should be posting about twice a week, give or take. This interview has crappy audio in some parts. I apologize. If I remember correctly, I taped it at work. You still get everything, though. No worries there.

There is a comparison point in this interview between Ryan Braun and O.J. Simpson. Stick around for it.

What’s This All About?

This is a blog and podcast series about the work we all do: the highs, the lows, the effectiveness, the intrigue, the models, the double speak, and the passion. The point is to have discussions with people in those fields about their life and experiences. And hey, sometimes the stories might be funny, too. In the spring of 2013, the new posts started to fade, but you can find them all on iTunes.
